Memoir

Katie ( http://mattandkatiegriffies.blogspot.com/ ) tagged me to write my 6-word memoir.

This idea came from the book by Larry Smith and Rachel Fershleiser called Not Quite What I Was Planning: Six-Word Memoirs by Writers Famous and Obscure. The book is a compilation that is based on the story that Hemingway once bet ten dollars that he could sum up his entire life in just six words.
His words? For Sale: baby shoes, never worn.

Here are the rules:
1. Write your own six word memoir.
2. Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you’d like.
3. Link to the person that tagged you in your post and to this original post if possible so we can track it as it travels across the blogosphere.
4. Tag five more blogs with links.
5. And don’t forget to leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play!

My six words: A very interesting journey thus far

Have fun ladies and please leave another comment so we can go check it out. And, if you were not tagged and want to do it anyway that is great too. Just leave a comment and let us know so we'll check it out!

Thanks for tagging me, but I've done mine already, I just didn't list all the rules or tag anyone :) My memoir is "I love, and I am loved". PS~I need to show you how to link in a post without showing the web address!

Hard to sum up in 6 words, but mine would be:
Achieving lifetime goal of blissful exhaustion!
I feel like my whole life has led up to being a mom, and now that motherhood is here, I am SO TIRED and frequently completely overwhelmed. But having children of my own is everything I ever imagined it to be and more! I'm tring to cherish every second of my current chaotic life, because I know it's fleeting!

Just stumbled across your blog, and it's beautiful. I wanted to join in the 6-word memoir tag, if that's okay. :) Mine would read: I lived, I loved, I learned.

With love from Pittsburgh...
